Background
The Animal Welfare Network (AWN) was founded in 2000, in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
AWN is a registered charity administered by a Management Committee elected at the Annual General Meeting.
Mission
To reduce pet overpopulation and promote respect and care for animals, through the promotion and facilitation of spaying and neutering; to promote public awareness of society’s responsibilities towards animals; and to partner with organizations and individuals that offer support and advice on animal welfare.
Vision
A stray free country, where animals are treated with care and respect.
